Raul accompanied us on a 12 day birdwatching and wildlife tour of Northern Equador in September 2011. We had an absolutely fabulous time and we are sure that we would not have seen birds such as Andean Condor and Andean Hillstar without his help. Raul provided options and ideas for things to see and places to go throughout our stay. We manage to fit in a quick tour of Quito so that he could show us parts of the city and his heritage of which he is extremely proud. We feel that we met Raul as clients and left as friends. Thanks very much for an excellent holiday.
We had a fabulous bird watching tour around Quito with our guide, driver and general entertainer Raul. Having done a self guided tour of Costa Rica, we now know how much we missed by not having a guide such as Raul. We were able to identify many birds, some 250 in total, which would not have been possible without Raul. His general knowledge, driving and command of the english language was excellent and he was always prepared to go that extra mile to ensure our holiday was the best possible. I would whole heartedly recommend him to you.
We most definitely enjoyed our trip to Ecuador, having Raul Miranda certainly enhanced our experience; through his very good English we gained a great local understanding of tradition, history, politics, present day life and much more! Journeying with Raul and William our driver felt extremely safe and comfortable. We were very pleasantly surprised by the amazing and unique places we managed to visit in such a short time. Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend them to all!!

We had long experience (2 weeks each) of Raul and Jorge and we hold both in high regard. They have great all round knowledge of the nature and geology of Ecuador and are a fund of information on its history, people and their customs. Both are safe and skilled drivers and seem intimately acquainted with every single road in the country. They are very relaxed and accommodating in that they are willing to subtly change itineraries to suite their customers. We had a wonderful trip in Ecuador due to the excellent services of Raul Miranda, both as our guide and driver. Not only did he bring us comfortably and safely to all destinations of our choice, he also organised a lot of activities that we all very much liked!
His English is perfect and he knows a lot about the country, the people and the sites we visited. Raul contributed greatly to the success and pleasure of our trip!

We had a great trip to Ecuador and to have Raul as our guide was a real pleasure! He knew everything about the country and always came up with good stories and backgrounds. Our driver also was nice and a good safe driver.
